Tobias Harris has played for five different teams, including the Detroit Pistons twice, so he knows what it’s like to be included in trade rumors and the increased scrutiny that comes with being on a team with playoff aspirations.
Harris is a consummate professional, which is one of the reasons I was excited the Pistons signed him, as he’s consistent and had been around long enough to be a mentor to the young players. Harris is not a rah rah guy who is going to get in people’s faces, but he clearly knows how to talk to young players, which we saw a lot of last season.
