Any doubt of Blake Griffin‘s basketball ability was effectively silenced on Tuesday night.
The 29-year-old decimated the Philadelphia 76ers by scoring 50 points on 20-of-35 shooting, carrying the Detroit Pistons to a 133-132 overtime win. Griffin also added 14 rebounds, six assists and one block.
It’s the first time in 12 years that a Piston has reached the 50-point plateau. He’s also just the seventh player in franchise history to accomplish that feat. But most importantly, Griffin has led the Pistons to a 3-0 start on this young season.
He’s averaging 36.
