For what seems like the first time in a long time, the Detroit Pistons have a group of promising young players that appear poised to take leaps in their respective games.
In the past, player development was put on the back burner in favor of veterans that were ready to contribute from day one. Times have changed and this new front office is all in on player development. The Pistons now have numerous players on their roster that have promising potential.
There are the obvious players to mention such as Sekou Doumbouya with his incredible physical tools and smooth jump shot; or Christian Wood who was hands down the Pistons best player after Andre Drummond got traded to the Cavaliers.
