This week in Pistons history: Terry Mills ties NBA record for 3-pointers

Facts, figures and memorable moments involving the Detroit Pistons for the week of Dec. 4-10:

Dec. 4, 1959: The Pistons draw a franchise-best 13,121 fans at Olympia Stadium for a doubleheader between them and the Minneapolis Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers and St. Louis Hawks. Detroit played at Olympia until 1961, when it moved to nearby Cobo Arena.

Dec. 4-7, 1996: Terry Mills sets a franchise record, and ties the NBA record, for most consecutive 3-point field goals made (13) over the course of three games. He went 7 for 8 from 3 in a win over Atlanta, 6 for 6 in a win over Cleveland, then missed his first 3-point attempt in a win over New Jersey, still finishing 4 for 8.
