SVG reacts: Pistons loosen up down stretch in win over Suns

AUBURN HILLS -- A win is a win, and at this point in the season the Detroit Pistons will take it.

But for two and a half quarters Sunday, the Pistons trudged their way through missed shots and awkward possessions. It took a fourth-quarter awakening, scoring 15 more points than the Phoenix Suns, to run away with a 112-95 win at the Palace.

Detroit (34-36) clawed its way back from a 12-point third-quarter deficit, outscoring the depleted Suns 35-20 in the fourth. The Pistons opened the quarter on a 10-2 run to pull ahead by double digits, a lead they never rescinded.
