The Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night traded Jerami Grant to the Portland Trail Blazers for a 2025 first-round draft pick, according to multiple reports.
The trade was first reported by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The pick is via the Milwaukee Bucks, and frees up $43 million in cap space, Wojnarowski reports.
Grant signed with the Pistons as a free agency before the 2020-21 season. In his two seasons in Detroit, the 6-foot-8 forward averaged 20.9 points and 4.4 rebounds in 101 games — all starts.
This is a developing story.
