Report: Pistons interview Jason Kidd for head coach position

The Pistons interviewed former Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets coach Jason Kidd for their vacant head coaching position Saturday, Jordan Schultz of Yahoo Sports reported.

Kidd coached the Nets to a 44-38 record in the 2013-14 season before moving to the Bucks for the following season. He coached Milwaukee for three-plus seasons, compiling a 183-190 record, missing the playoffs once and falling in the first round twice, then being dismissed 45 games into last season.

Kidd had an impressive career as a player playing 19 seasons for four teams from 1994-2013, being named an All-Star 10 times and winning an NBA championship with the Mavericks in 2011.
