Hindsight is 20/20 the saying goes, but even Stan Van Gundy admitted after the fact he still would have made the same decision.
Four years ago, as SI.com's Michael Rosenberg points out, Van Gundy was among the leading candidates for the Golden State Warriors' coaching job.
Mark Jackson had been fired, Steve Kerr not yet hired, and the Bay Area area franchise was just looking for someone to steer Steph Curry to greatness.
Except Van Gundy took the Detroit Pistons job instead.
