New York — It’s not just chatter in the Trade Machine anymore.
The Pistons are in the final stages of making a trade for one of their starters.
League sources confirmed to The Detroit News on Tuesday night that the Pistons are preparing to send guard Reggie Bullock to the Lakers for guard Svi Mykhailiuk and a future second-round pick. The Athletic’s Frank Isola was first to report that a deal was close.
The final details of the trade still are being worked out but the Lakers are expected to include their 2021 second-round pick in the deal, which could be finalized Wednesday.
