Portland, Ore. — Portland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum wasn’t going to let anyone go home. After he hit a 3-pointer to tie the game and force each of the overtime sessions, it became a battle of attrition for the Pistons to be able to soldier their way through a double-extended game.
Reggie Jackson got the Pistons to overtime but Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was the finisher, hitting back-to-back 3-pointers, pushing the Pistons to a 125-124 victory after two overtimes.
The Pistons (18-21) have their first win streak since Dec. 2 but more importantly, Jackson, who had 31 points, was looking more like he did last year, when he torched the Blazers, averaging 35 points in the two meetings.
