Auburn Hills — After a full practice, Reggie Jackson still wanted to take more shots.
Jackson, who has missed all of the regular season, was cleared for full practice in another benchmark toward his return from tendinitis treatments he had in the preseason. He’s still within the original timeline of 6-8 weeks, but after being cleared for full contact, he could be down to the final week or so of his rehab.
The Pistons have a three-game stretch on the road this week: at Charlotte on Tuesday, at Boston on Wednesday and at Atlanta on Friday. Coach Stan Van Gundy was happy to see Jackson’s progress but wasn’t optimistic at having him back during the road trip.
