DETROIT - The Detroit Pistons, for the first time in the preseason, started the lineup they're likely to go with in the regular season opener.
They could use some more time together.
The Pistons trailed Washington most of the night Wednesday before making a late charge to grab the lead. The Wizards, however, pulled out a 102-97 victory at Little Caesars Arena behind 32 points from All-Star guard John Wall.
Andre Drummond led the Pistons with 17 points and 19 rebounds. He made a pair of free throws to put his team ahead 96-94 with 2:01 to play.
