Pistons put up a fight, but run out of firepower as Bucks rally in second half for 2-0 lead

FAST BREAKDOWN

Three quick observations from Wednesday night’s Game 2 120-99 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks at Fiserv Forum

HALF, BUT NO CIGAR – Dwane Casey emptied his tool box. Without Blake Griffin again – he tested his knee before the game but didn’t play, though he picked up his second technical foul of the series late in the third quarter – Casey shuffled the starting lineup. Luke Kennard started for Bruce Brown. He used a heavy dose of a four-guard lineup. He used Andre Drummond as the primary defender on Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Pistons got off to a much better start offensively than in Game 1, needed to withstand a Milwaukee offensive barrage early and recovered from a 12-point deficit to lead by a point at halftime.
