AUBURN HILLS -- Slow starts have become commonplace for this Detroit Pistons team as of late, and more often than not they are tied to missed shots.
Take Wednesday's loss to the Utah Jazz as a perfect example: the Pistons shot 2 of 10 to start the game, even after making two of their first three attempts, and fell behind nine points early.
"There are some guys we can count on for a little bit more energy," Van Gundy said of the slow starts, "but we need to put the ball in the basket on the first shot they get.
