Detroit — Different lineup, somewhat different result.
The Pistons made a change to try to jump-start their stagnant offense and it worked with Glenn Robinson III adding some pop to the starting group.
The rest of the shooting didn’t follow along with the change, though, as the Pistons continued to struggle with their shooting, allowing the Miami Heat to pull ahead in the third quarter. The Pistons didn’t find their offensive gear until late in the fourth quarter and forced overtime, but fell 120-115 to the Heat on Monday night at Little Caesars Arena.
Andre Drummond had 25 points and 24 rebounds, Blake Griffin 24 points, 15 rebounds and seven assists and Langston Galloway 21 points — including 4-of-9 on 3-pointers — to help the effort.
