Pistons experimenting with Reggie Jackson, Ish Smith in same lineup

AUBURN HILLS -- Stan Van Gundy hinted in training camp about his desire to play two point guards on the floor at the same time.

With Reggie Jackson back and the Detroit Pistons struggling to find consistent play behind Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, it could be a lineup they turn to more often.

The Pistons played some with Jackson and Ish Smith on the court together Sunday in their loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. The duo started the fourth quarter, with Smith running point guard, but a 14-point deficit bloomed to 19 soon after.

"I was trying to get two guys attacking the basket, to see if we could get something going," Van Gundy said.
