Auburn Hills — There wasn’t much the Pistons could do in Tuesday’s loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, who made their first 10 3-pointers and shot 60 percent from the field. After that game, the Pistons were quick to dismiss the 32-point loss because of the Cavs’ hot shooting.
On a back-to-back against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, the Pistons had another tough challenge. The Jazz had a lopsided win, 110-77, at Salt Lake City on Jan. 13 and coach Stan Van Gundy noted before Wednesday’s game that Jazz forward Rodney Hood consistently is tough to defend.
