Detroit — The Pistons have had a player test positive for the coronavirus, the team announced Saturday night. The team didn't identify the player, but The Athletic reported earlier it was Christian Wood.
The Pistons said the player is "under the care of team medical staff and in self-isolation."
The test result came back Saturday, the Pistons said.
"The health and safety of our players, our organization, those throughout our league, and all those potentially impacted by this situation is paramount," the statement read.
