Detroit — The Pistons’ comebacks are getting harder and harder. The deficits keep getting bigger, but the Pistons keep finding ways to get back in the game in the fourth quarters.
The comebacks are just falling short.
It happened again to the Pistons on Sunday, digging a 15-point deficit to the Brooklyn Nets in the third quarter. The Pistons rallied in the fourth quarter and trailed by seven with less than five minutes left.
They just couldn’t get over the hump
After scorching the Nets by 34 points 11 days ago, the Pistons struggled to put anything together for the first three quarters.
