Pistons at Hawks final score: A fun, valiant effort from the Pistons’ newest members

Detroit Pistons fans got what they wanted in game three, and the product was entertaining even if it didn’t result in the team’s first victory, falling to the Atlanta Hawks 128-120.

Ultimately, the Hawks just had too much offensive firepower and pulled away in the second half. The Pistons made an admirable comeback attempt but dug themselves too big of a hole.

Saddiq Bey filled Blake Griffin’s absence in the starting lineup and performed admirably. He didn’t shoot well but looked like he belonged immediately and showed he can do a little bit of everything:
