Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond is having a career year on and off the court.
The 26-year-old was seen rapping in Las Vegas this summer and his career will get a boost with the launch “Today with Dre” on Overtime’s YouTube channel at 12 p.m. Sunday. A new episode of the reality series will drop each Sunday, focusing on Drummond’s rap career.
“Dre saw our series ‘Hello Newmans,’ and asked when he could get his own show … so we gave him one,” Overtime co-founder Zack Weiner said.
Drummxnd, the center’s rap name, took stage at On the Record Speakeasy and Club at the Park MGM and rapped five songs after NBA Summer League was over.
