Palace memories don’t overwhelm Van Gundy

Auburn Hills — As the final games at The Palace tick down, there are many remembrances and recollections, but Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy isn’t among the overly sentimental about the Pistons’ home — or any building, for that matter.

The Pistons played their penultimate game at The Palace on Wednesday night and will close out with the final matchup on Monday night against the Washington Wizards, before they move to start next season at Little Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit.

Van Gundy said there weren’t many big moments to choose from, but one that sticks out was a special one in getting things turned around.
