No magic comeback in Pistons this time as tepid 2nd quarter sinks ’em

FAST BREAKDOWN

Three quick observations from Monday night’s 102-89 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks at BMO Harris Bradley Center

SLAM DUNK – Given that the 16-point fourth-quarter deficit the Pistons erased to win Sunday at Toronto was the largest they’d overcome to win since relocating to Detroit 60 years ago, it’s fair to assume that digging big holes isn’t a winning formula. They provided a flicker of hope a similar rally was in the offing, slicing their deficit to 11 in the first three minutes of the fourth quarter, but that was as good as it got.
