Having Blake Griffin and the NBA's reigning coach of the year, Dwane Casey, doesn't make the Detroit Pistons a better national television draw.
The NBA today revealed its national TV schedule for the first week of the season, Christmas and Martin Luther King Day, and the Pistons aren't featured.
The entire schedule is expected to be released next week. The Pistons likely will be on national TV a few times - most teams are.
The first six days of the 2018-19 season (Oct. 16-21) will feature 15 different teams playing 11 national TV games across TNT, ESPN and NBA-TV.
