Kevin Garnett, a 15-time NBA All-Star and future Hall-of-Famer, was one of the fiercest competitors of his generation.
Perhaps some of that passion, and skill, will rub off on Andre Drummond and Henry Ellenson.
Garnett will be working with the Detroit Pistons big men in "one of his signature behind closed-door tutoring sessions," according to Marc Stein of the New York Times.
Garnett, who played 14 seasons in Minnesota and won an NBA Championship in Boston, has at least two connections with the Pistons. He played two seasons for new Detroit coach Dwane Casey while with the Timberwolves.
