Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has a Grade-2 rotator cuff strain

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Already down Jon Leuer, the Detroit Pistons could be without their starting shooting guard for the remainder of their western road trip.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has a Grade 2 rotator cuff strain in his left shoulder and has been ruled out of Friday's game at Utah (10:30 p.m., ESPN). Additionally, he is already listed as doubtful for Sunday's game at Los Angeles.

Caldwell-Pope departed Detroit's 127-107 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Thursday in the first quarter clutching his left shoulder in pain. He had been nursing a sore left shoulder when he appeared to be clipped coming around a screen.
