The Grand Rapids Drive have selected their roster for the season opener, and it includes three players who made the team via tryouts.
The Drive, coming off their first playoff appearance last season, open 2018-19 campaign Friday at Erie. They are home 7 p.m. Saturday at the DeltaPlex Arena against Windy City.

On Wednesday, the Drive waived Josh Simmons, Brandon Hollins and Orlando Sanchez to complete the 12-man roster.
The squad includes a pair of two-way players also with the Detroit Pistons in Zach Lofton and Keenan Evans.
