Detroit — While the world awaits the Chris Webber book detailing his side of the Fab Five era, former teammate Jalen Rose said he will beat him to the punch.
Rose plans to release a book Oct. 6 called “Got to Give the People What They Want.” He made the announcement Monday during the Jalen Rose Golf Outing at the Detroit Golf Club to benefit the Jalen Rose Academy.
But Rose would not say what the book will be about, though much of it is likely to be centered on the Fab Five era during which five freshmen and sophomores took Michigan to the NCAA Finals, losing to Duke and North Carolina in 1992 and 1993, respectively.
