It became official Tuesday - the NBA Development League, commonly known as the D-League, is now the NBA Gatorade League.
Just call it the G League.

The move followed an announcement in February that the league had signed a multi-year corporate sponsorship deal with Gatorade. It marked the first time a U.S. professional sports league named an entitlement partner.
