The Detroit Pistons apparently have narrowed their coaching search to three candidates.
The Pistons are planning to have Michigan coach John Beilein, former Toronto Raptors coach Dwane Casey and San Antonio Spurs assistant coach Ime Udoka meet with owner Tom Gores, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
All three met with Detroit's front office recently. Pistons senior adviser Ed Stefanski is leading the search and getting help from former NBA coaches Bernie Bickerstaff and Jim Lynam in evaluating the candidates.
Wojnarowski reports that Casey and Beilein have not fully committed themselves to the Pistons opening.
