The Detroit Pistons will hold their media day on Sept. 24 at Little Caesars Arena, according to a tweet from Keith Langlois.
Rod Beard of The Detroit News first reported the date back on Sept. 14.
Media day marks the earliest point in an NBA calendar where the entire team is together in a publicized event. There’s no basketball to be played, but it will give fans their first look at Dwane Casey and the 2018-19 Pistons.
Consider it a first impression.
Now don’t get me wrong, media day has zero bearing on how the upcoming season will unfold.
