The NBA announced Friday the Detroit Pistons will be participants in the NBA Mexico City Games next season.
The Pistons will face the Dallas Mavericks at Arena Ciudad de Mexico in Mexico City on Thursday, December 12.
The San Antonio Spurs are matched up against the Phoenix Suns for the second of the two games at the venue in the 2019-20 season.
This game marks the first time the Pistons will travel outside of the United States or Canada for a game since 2013 when they played the New York Knicks in London.
