Detroit Pistons sign Louis King to new two-way deal

Louis King has escaped the scythe of Troy Reaper after re-signing with the Detroit Pistons on a new two-way contract. The deal was first reported by Keith Smith. This is the second consecutive two-way contract for King, who went undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft. King is one of just five players returning to the Pistons next season.

The two-way deal allows him to get additional development time with Detroit’s G League affiliate the Grand Rapids Drive. In 31 games with the Drive last season, King averaged 15 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3 assists in 28.
