The Detroit Pistons re-signed guard Lorenzo Brown to a second ten-day contract on Monday. He didn’t see any game action with the Pistons during the course of his first contract and it’s unlikely he’ll see the floor this time either, but he’ll round out the roster as an insurance policy at the guard position.

According to HoopsRumors.com, the contract is worth $55,722 and will cover the next five games against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Dallas Mavericks, the Chicago Bulls, the Miami Heat and the Orlando Magic.

Brown has spent the majority of the season with the Grand Rapids Drive, the Pistons’ NBA D-League affiliate.
