The Detroit Pistons have signed guard Bruce Brown, the 42nd pick in this year's draft.
The 6-5 Brown averaged 11.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists in 19 games as a sophomore with Miami. His season was shortened by a foot injury before he declared for the draft.
He is healthy now and participating in the Summer League.
Brown's strength is defense. He considered a combo guard whose future could be at the point.
