Detroit Pistons need somebody to take charge in the clutch

AUBURN HILLS - The Detroit Pistons had opportunities to pull out their past two games but either couldn't get a stop when they needed it or score a basket in the clutch.

They lost both and their skid stands at six heading into Saturday's game against Oklahoma City at Little Caesars Arena (5 p.m., Fox Sports Detroit).

They have missed starting point guard Reggie Jackson since he suffered a Grade 3 sprain of his right ankle on Dec. 26, going 3-10 without him. His absence is particularly felt in crunch time as the floor leader.

"He's a guy who's been very good in those situations and is by far the guy on our team who's the most comfortable in those situations," coach Stan Van Gundy said.
