The Detroit Pistons' offense continued to sputter Saturday in Las Vegas Summer League play as they lost to the Memphis Grizzlies 73-70 at Cox Pavilion.
Henry Ellenson led Detroit with 15 points but made only 5-of-21 shots, including 1-of-10 from 3-point range. He also corralled seven rebounds as the Pistons dropped to 0-2.
The Pistons shot 36 percent from the floor (25-of-69).
Rookie guards Khyri Thomas (13 points, including 3-of-5 from beyond the arc) and Bruce Brown (12 points, seven rebounds) made an impact. Larry Drew II picked up 13 points and five assists.
