The Detroit Pistons will be scouring the NBA for low-cost role players who fit the mold of what they are building.
Troy Weaver is clearly trying to build a team of versatile defenders and it is working. The Pistons were the 10th best team in the NBA this season in points allowed, so their defense is well on its way to being very good.
The Pistons will never be a top free-agent destination, so they are going to have to build through the draft and savvy trades.
