Detroit Pistons: Blake Griffin noted as one of ‘worst’ NBA contracts

The Detroit Pistons hold one one of the worst contracts in the NBA, according to one source.

After trading for Blake Griffin almost a year ago, they acquired one of the bigger contracts that the league has to offer. He’s currently on the books for five years, paying out at $171 million in total earnings.

That’s an average of $34 million a season. In his final season with the Pistons, Griffin is set to make almost $40 million.
