It appears the Detroit Pistons roster is set with newly-claimed forward Christian Wood, who is one option to play backup center.
However, his contract is still non-guaranteed. The Pistons could move into the season with Wood as their 15th man, or they could prefer to sign a free agent to a veteran-minimum level contract to fill the center position.
Langston Galloway’s $7 million salary could also be moved, given the Pistons surplus of two-guards, and moving him for a center could be an option the Pistons pursue.
With the Pistons offseason additions, an impressive Summer League performance and Wood’s salary not guaranteed, there are plenty of options to examine.
