The Detroit Pistons will play in the 2020 NBA Finals.
At least that’s how former NBA All-Star Detlef Schrempf sees things shaking out, he said in a recent interview with GQ India. Schrempf, a three-time All-Star, waxed nostalgia about his time with the Seattle Supersonics, the many personalities he played with and what it was like to be a German in the NBA.
The interview was relatively mellow until the end when Schrempf made predictions for the NBA season. He named Anthony Davis as his MVP favorite, (no shock there) picked either the Portland Trailblazers or Los Angeles Clippers to win the West (again, not crazy) and then went completely out of left field and picked none other than the Pistons to make the NBA Finals out of the Eastern Conference.
