Derrick Rose is on a historic scoring streak for the Detroit Pistons

Following the Detroit Pistons victory over the Boston Celtics, Derrick Rose quietly set a new franchise record. After scoring 22 points on 84 percent shooting, Rose became the first player in Pistons’ history to record seven consecutive 20+ point games as a reserve. The previous record was held by Jerry Stackhouse (1998-1999). This is currently the second franchise record that Rose holds in Detroit, the first being the most points averaged per game as a reserve.

The latter could technically be subject to change but with the tear that he’s currently on that doesn’t seem entirely likely.
