The Detroit Pistons are heading into what could be their final season with Andre Drummond on the team.
Drummond – who will be 26 years old at the start of the 2019-20 season – will make $27 million this season and have a player option for $28.7 million in 2020-21.
The two-time All-Star had one of, if not the best season of his 7-year career last season:
- 17.5 points per game: Career-high
- 15.6 rebounds per game: League-best
- 1.7 steals: Career-high
- 5.9 Defensive Win Shares: League-best
Despite the All-Star snub, Drummond had a dominant year with the second-highest salary on his team.
