Blake Griffin was named to his sixth NBA All-Star game Thursday, and his first as a member of the Detroit Pistons.
Griffin was one of 14 players announced as NBA reserves for the game slated for Feb. 17 in Charlotte. Griffin is averaging 26.3 points, 8.1 rebounds and 5.3 assists for the Pistons, and will be playing in his first All-Star game since 2015.
Eastern reserves who also made the team were Bradley Beal (Washington), Kyle Lowry (Toronto), Khris Middleton (Milwaukee), Victor Oladipo (Indiana), Ben Simmons (Philadelphia) and Nikola Vucevic (Orlando).
