As Pistons continue to get beat up early, players, SVG at a loss

AUBURN HILLS -- The slow starts are back, and Stan Van Gundy and his players are at a loss over how to fix it.

The Detroit Pistons surrendered 28 points and fell behind by as many as 15 in the first quarter of Wednesday's 97-83 loss to the Utah Jazz at the Palace.

Which wouldn't be so damning had the Pistons not given up 44 points to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday en route to a 32-point loss.

"We didn't bring anything," said Van Gundy, the Pistons coach. "Look, I'm not jumping all over our guys.
