They defended, holding everyone not named Marc Gasol (season-high 38 points) in single digits for three-plus quarters, and felt like they good looks at the basket.
The issue was putting the basketball through the net Wednesday night in their 98-86 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, boasting the NBA's best defense, at the Palace.
"I thought our guys fought," Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy said. "We just offensively couldn't get anything going whatsoever.
