There is reported pessimism surrounding the continuation of the 2019-2020 NBA season, and there’s a growing expectation that it could be cancelled all together. For the Detroit Pistons, their season would have ended before the playoffs regardless.
If the season were to end, six total players could potentially be coming off of the books in Detroit. Some of them will likely be re-signed, but the fact remains that some of them have played their final game as a Piston.
Detroit will have plenty of cap space this summer, and how they’re going to move forward with constructing a new roster is currently up in the air.
