A new NFL proposal that would shrink the preseason to one game is a step towards football's successful return this fall, but the Detroit Lions still should be wary about the league's latest plan.
According to Pro Football Talk, if the NFL's latest return-to-play proposal is implemented, every team would play one game in what was scheduled to be the third week of the preseason.
The Lions, if the schedule holds, would play the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
