MOBILE, Ala. — Jeff Davidson won't return for a third season as offensive line coach with the Detroit Lions, but he's still a part of the coaching staff for now and that's why he was out on the field at the first day of Senior Bowl practice Tuesday.
“I’ve got a contract through the 31st of January, so I’m helping anywhere that I can while I’m here," Davidson said. "Still enjoy football, so it’s kind of fun to be out here."
Davidson was one of Matt Patricia's first hires as Lions coach in 2018.
