Several of the Lions’ defensive starters have yet to play in a preseason game. There’s no telling how many will play in the preseason game Friday night against the Buffalo Bills at Ford Field.
But that hasn’t tempered Jarrad Davis’ excitement for when everyone finally gets on the field together, especially if the vaunted defensive line suits up.
“It’s really exciting,” he said Wednesday, “and we’re continuing to go out each and every day and put in time in the meeting room and making sure that we’re all on the same page about things and trying to bring it to the practice field and just continuing to work out the kinks and iron out the wrinkles and everything like that.
